Psychedelic folk meets medieval minstrel chanting, black metal meets sacred litanies. The music of Czech singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist Petra Hermanova is as dark as the night. It digs into the abysses of the human soul. At a distance, Hermanova’s laments are reminiscent of musicians like Anna von Hausswolff, but the occult folk of David Tibet and the 70s psychedelic of Vashti Bunyan are not far away either. The musician is already considered one of the discoveries of the festival.
