The fact that French multi-instrumentalist and singer Cécile Schott aka Colleen is constantly on the lookout for new sounds and ways to create them is proven by her work with the ancient instrument – the viola de gamba. In recent years, she has put it aside and turned to the Moog synthesizer and her voice. The atmospherically intense pieces she draws from both are harmonically complex, contemplative and classical, delighting critics and audiences around the world.
