Shane Parish plays Autechre is a solo acoustic guitar performance of Autechre’s 1990s electronic catalogue, drawn from his 2026 album Autechre Guitar on Bill Orcut’s Palilalia. Parish notated material from Incunabula, Amber and Tri Repetae and distilled it for a single unaccompanied instrument. The result braids Booth and Brown’s futurist melancholy into a lineage of blues, jazz and American primitivism that was always latent in the originals.
