Marta Salogni presents a new work entitled a,drift for multiple 1/4″ reel to reel tape machines and oscillators. Salogni is one of the most significant recording engineers and producers working today, with credits spanning Björk, Depeche Mode, black midi and English Teacher. In parallel, Salogni has developed a live practice using tape machines, loops and feedback as performance instruments. Her Revox and Ferrograph reel-to-reels generate polyrhythms, extended delays and harmonic layers through the physical manipulation of tape.
