Lacchesi

For Lacchesi, intensity isn’t simply a matter of speed. It’s how he constructs a set: persistent loops, minimal grooves, jittery melodies and flashes of trance accumulating until the moment of release. Behind the decks, he moves freely between techno, rave and more experimental territories, with an approach that is fast, unpredictable and intensely physical.

Based in Paris, Lorenzo Lacchesi belongs to a generation treating the boundaries between electronic genres with increasing freedom. Through Maison Close, the label he co-founded, he has built a platform around that same hybrid vision, while his own productions stretch from hard-hitting techno and uptempo rhythms to IDM and ambient. Releases on Mama Told Ya, BCCO, Matière and EXTRA ENERGY, the albums PNK* and Based On A True Story, and his widely played remix of Baraka’s “Half Faces” reveal different sides of that trajectory.

In 2026, he followed with High & Dry, a split EP with JKS released through Maison Close and Smile Sessions, after an extensive year of international touring that took him to Monegros, Nuits Sonores, Pitch and ADE.
