TIMES at reworks 2024

The 20th reworks edition was here to celebrate the club culture, hosting in Thessaloniki a bunch of legends: Cerrone, KiNK, Röyksopp, Richie Hawtin…

This musical journey crossed 9 stages, during 5 days & nights. Electrifying beats and unforgettable vibes for a special birthday.

On the Saturday, TIMES curations set the tempo, starting with French DJ Pablo Bozzi, co-curated with Nuits sonores, playing with new wave, EBM, and disco.
Tromsø-based artist and curator Charlotte Bendiks (co-curated with Insomnia) brought her psychedelic beats to Greece, opening the floor to Raxon. The Egyptian artist, co-curated with Semibreve, delivered his famous energy towards the crowd with proper weapons!

Pablo Bozzi

Over the past couple years, it seems everyone has turned their gaze towards Pablo Bozzi. The Berlin-by-way-of-Toulouse producer and DJ has taken the club scene by storm with releases he’s coined Italo Body Music. The particular concoction of Italo Disco melodies overtop the brutality of an EBM beat—often a funky groove but with an edge—boast the precision of Bozzi’s productions that derive from his classical music background.

Bozzi’s collaborations with other producers keep in the Italo Body Music spirit without veering off course. The project Soft Crash with Phase Fatale, presents a dark layer of moodiness with epic melodies that course through unforgiving strains of EBM basslines. INFRAVISION, Bozzi’s moniker alongside fellow Toulousian, Kendal, presents pop elements of 90s early trance into the fold, as demonstrated via their raucous Boiler Room Gdansk back-to-back DJ appearance.

But it is not only Bozzi’s productions that steal the show: his DJ sets are an exciting whirlwind of genres. The ebb and flow of his DJ performances race through a journey curated for dancers who want emotion in their club experience—built to cater to those who appreciate the twists and turns of elaborate musical storylines. There’s no stopping his insatiable, high energy spectaculars. Pablo will launch his own imprint, Second Sight focused on showcasing new talents and friends.

Co-curated with Insomnia:
Charlotte Bendiks

Charlotte Bendiks, the northern ambassador of distant intimacy. She is playful and silly, and therefore confident and sexy, whether as a DJ or playing live, her music is deep, dark, and kaleidoscopic. Best known for her playful and psychedelic releases on labels such as Comeme, Accidental JNR, Optimo and Hivern Discs, Norwegian DJ and producer Charlotte Bendiks’ sets are a mix of seriousness and mischief, of closeness and distance.

Blending timeless house rhythms with a psychedelic texture distinctly of her own creation, Bendiks’ performances have been evolving over a number of years, including appearances at festivals such as CTM, Insomnia and Mutek. Displaying an improvisational feel, the spontaneous energy of Bendiks’ live performances feeds back into the energy of the crowd, whether entrancing a sprawling festival tent or within the anonymity of a dark, sweat-drenched dancefloor.

Co-curated with Semibreve:
